Presidential Elections...

The on-going debate between which candidate for the presidential race is nearing a close. Barack Obama, the Democratic candidate, is the first African American to be nominated by a major political party. Obama is a senator from Illinois. The other candidate is John McCain, Republican, who is a senator from Arizona.

For me, age is a big factor. John McCain is currently 82 (!!!) and would be 86 by the time he was done with one four year term. It shouldn't matter about his age so much, but the fact that his health could become an issue at any time, and with me not being such a huge fan of Palin, the vice-presidential candidate for John McCain, is a contributing factor. Not to mention i disagree with many of McCain's ideas. Barack Obama and I share many of the same ideas and I think Obama would be able to handle most of the problems that we are currently having.
